Women Empowerment means the battle of raising the
prominence of women through education, raising awareness, literacy,
and training. Women's empowerment is all about equipping and
permitting women to make life-determining choices through different
problems in society. Women education in India has a major concern, education in
women play an important role in the development of society and the country.
When women are educated, they can face the challenges, confront and change the
old and traditional role of women in society. Education to women means
improvement of family, society and the country.
The story is about the person who not only played a vital
role in the women's education in Tamil Nadu with his strong values and ethics,
but he also made the self-reliant by providing the jobs, he believed in women
empowerment by empowered women. The man who changed his destiny and the destiny
of many people hails from a middle-class family from Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram
District, Tamil Nadu, Alhaj Dr B. S. Abdur Rahman (15 October 1927 – 7 January 2015) was an
Indian Tamil serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and educationist. He had
a range of business interests in the UAE and India (in Tamil Nadu) including
maritime shipping, real estate, insurance etc. He founded numerous schools, colleges,
hospitals and university. He was one of the 24 Indians to feature in The 500 Most Influential Muslims, an annual publication which ranks the
most influential Muslims in the world.

Our chairman (BSA Sir), was not an ordinary man, raising from scratch is not everybody can do. He predominantly focused for women's education, resulting "educated woman" in evey house, particularly in southern region. Big salute for his noble work.
